Role in the project
Sphera will perform, following a holistic approach considering people, planet and profit, the Life-Cycle Impact Assessment (LCA or LCIA), the Life-Cycle Costing analysis (LCC), assess the circularity of the products using the Material Circularity Indicator (MCI) and assess the social impacts related to the construction of the bio-refinery as well as the bio-based products and industrial applications. Sphera will lead WP7 “Socio-economic & sustainability of the value chains” and will be responsible for disseminating LCA and social impact assessment results in various ways, such as in reports, journal articles and data delivery to existing LCA databases.
